| Kitch-N-Queen is one of only two (with Par-T-Que) Watt Pottery banded patterns that have actual production names. Kitch-N-Queen was introduced in January of 1955 and produced uninterrupted through the early 1960s. This ware is found on some Orchard Ware mold shapes (#110 and #131) as well as classic Watt Pottery molds of the late 1950s.
Are there yet undocumented Orchard Ware pieces out there?? Perhaps a #115 carafe or #112 tea pot will surface. The Kitch-N-Queen #616 bowl is somewhat of an oddity. The sixteen inch 'dough bowl' is found ONLY in Kitch-N-Queen and is the largest mixing bowl attributed to the Watt Pottery |
